Owner/Stylist

Eric Demsko is a highly trained stylist with more than 24 years of experience, known for his technical precision, creative vision, and commitment to the craft of hairstyling.

He began his career in 2001 as an apprentice at the respected David J. Witchell Salon. After earning his cosmetology license, Eric built his experience working between Philadelphia and Denver, Colorado, where he served as lead assistant to two NAHA award–winning stylists. From 2011 to 2020, he established a strong presence in Newtown, Bucks County, before relocating to Philadelphia in 2020 and working in the Fairmount Park area.

Driven by continuous growth, Eric pursued advanced education at Vidal Sassoon in New York City, earning six diplomas in both precision and creative techniques between 2022 and 2023. He further expanded his expertise in 2023 through the R+Co Masterclass with legendary stylist and R+Co Bleu founder Garren in Miami. In 2024, Eric was invited to join the R+Co education team, where he currently serves as a Regional Educator.

In 2026, Eric decided to culminate his experience and education and founded WRKSHP - a studio in historic Rittenhouse Square combining classic barbering, contemporary styling, and aesthetics.

Outside of his professional work, Eric draws inspiration from art, travel, architecture, antiques, music, sports, and has a particular appreciation for sushi. In his free time, he enjoys staying active, traveling, and most importantly - spending time with family, including his goldendoodle, Rolo.
